The Grand Canyon women's basketball team looks to continue its improved road play this week when it travels to Seattle U and Utah Valley.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
- DOUBLE-DOUBLE MACHINE: Senior power forward Da'jah Daniel has five straight games with at least 10 points and 10 rebounds. Daniel enters the week with nine double-doubles this season for a GCU Division I record.

- MAE DAY: Freshman Mae Bryant really has come through with the start of conference play. Through four WAC games, Bryant is averaging 10.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in just 18 minutes per game.

- TRIPLE OT:Â Last year at Seattle U, the Lopes won a 74-73 decision in triple overtime. Laura Piera played 51 minutes and scored 15 points with six assists and five rebounds.
SCOUTING
Seattle U is 1-4 in WAC play but 6-3 overall at home this season. Last week, the Redhawks lost at UT Rio Grande Valley in overtime and lost at New Mexico State.
Senior guard Kamira Sanders is second in the conference in scoring, averaging 17.9 points per game.
Utah Valley enters the week as the last unbeaten conference team. UVU has won seven straight games, including last week's road wins at New Mexico State and UTRGV.
Senior 6-foot power forward Jordan Holland leads the Wolverines with 10.8 points per game and 5.9 rebounds per game while sophomore forward Eve Braslis averages 10.6 points per game.
LAST TIME OUT
GCU split its homestand with a win over Chicago State and a loss to Kansas City at home last week.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lopes return home to host UTRGV on Jan. 30.
