The Grand Canyon softball team heads into its final weekend of regular-season WAC play, as the Lopes travel to Kansas City to face the Roos in a three-game series on Friday and Saturday at the Urban Youth Academy. GCU is coming off a 1-2 weekend against WAC-leading Seattle U.Â
GCU looks to continue its five-game win streak against the Roos, who were topped 14-5 by the Lopes in last year's WAC Tournament to send GCU to the finale against New Mexico State. In the regular season, the Lopes swept Kansas City 3-0, outscoring the Roos 28-7.
