The Grand Canyon women's volleyball team swept Jacksonville State 30-28, 25-17, 25-19 on Saturday morning of the GCU Invitational.
GCU recorded 11 team blocks and nine aces to defeat the Gamecocks.
Annabelle Kubinski led the GCU block party with six blocks, while
Sarah Hagge added five blocks.
Kayla Redfield and
Teagan DeFalco served up multiple aces.
Kubinski and
KJ Adams each recorded eight kills to lead the Lopes.
Kaira Moss added six kills with a .385 hitting efficiency. DeFalco led the Lopes with 11 digs.
JSU was led by Addie Halverson with 10 kills, while Lena Kinderman finished with nine kills.
GCU is back in action at 6 PM for the final match-up the GCU Invitational against Boston College.
