Jordan Jackson had a team-high and GCU career-best 12 points on Sunday afternoon at the Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas, but the Grand Canyon women's basketball team came up short to UNLV, 76-47, to end the two-game road trip. The Lopes fall to 0-4 on the season, while the Rebels advance to 3-0.
Senior
August Touchard joined Jackson in double-digits in today's game, as the guard finished with 10 points, a team-high six rebounds and one assist.
Freshman
Myra Williams earned her first start for the Lopes and came away with five boards and two assists. Junior
Katelyn Lee had nine points, two boards and an assist, while freshman
Florence Tshimanga had four points in her collegiate debut.

Vanessa Murphy and freshman
Camille Hailey had six and four points respectively, while Murphy finished the contest with four rebounds and Hailey had three.
After heading to the locker room trailing the Rebels, 41-18, the Lopes came back in the second half with aggressive defense and quicker offensive movement. GCU held UNLV to just a 14-12 advantage in the fourth, but came up short in the road test.
The Lopes return home to host Benedictine (Mesa) at 6 p.m. (MT) on Wednesday at the GCU Arena before heading to Valparaiso for a 1 p.m. contest on Saturday, Nov. 25. Admission to all GCU women's basketball home games is free of charge.
