PHOENIX - After Grand Canyon took the first set 25-20, Quincy came back to win three straight sets to top the Lopes 3-1. The Eagles forced the weekend split with GCU.
Cody Williams and
Ashton King were the two Lopes to reach double-digit kills Saturday night as Williams led the team with 11 kills and King was right behind him with 10 himself. The difference between Friday night's win over the Hawks and Saturday's loss was hitting percentage for the Lopes. GCU's hitting percentage Saturday night was .184 compared to their .519 hitting percentage when they defeated Quincy in the first match.
