KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Grand Canyon University women's volleyball team (3-15, 1-5) fell in a three-set match against Kansas City (11-7, 4-2).
UMKC came out strong with a 25-15 win in the opening set, before defeating GCU in the following two 25-17, 25-18.

Haley Glass picked up another 13 digs in the match to take her total for the season to 203. She averages 3.48 per set, ranking her second in conference for digs per set in all matches and fourth in conference-only matches.
Natalie Tardy picked up 10 digs of her own during the match and recorded the Lopes' lone service ace.
Randahl Powers tallied 23 more assists for a total of 129 and 7.06 average in conference matches, giving her the seventh best average among WAC athletes.
Hannah Hicks added seven more kills to her total.
As a team, their highest hitting percentage was in the second set (.200), but it was also the strongest set for the 'Roos (.350).
