PHOENIX – The Grand Canyon men's soccer team will look to rebound off a disappointing weekend in California as they continue its Western Athletic Conference roadtrip. The Antelopes will face off against Incarnate Word for just one match this week in San Antonio.

After last week, the Lopes are now 2-2 in the WAC, currently sitting in fifth place. Alberto Sanchez Garcia still remains on top of standings in the WAC in shots this season (49) and shots per game (4.45) and is now in sixth place in points this season with 16. A matchup against Incarnate Word will wrap up GCU's three-match roadtrip within the conference before heading back home next week.

All-Time Series RecordGCU will face Incarnate Word for the fourth time in school history with a 2-1-0 all-time record against the Cardinals.

Scouting Incarnate WordThe Cardinals have been led by Noah Keats this season a WAC leading eight goals and three assists for a total of 19 points, which leads the conference. Incarnate Word will look to get back to its winning ways as they have dropped its last three matches. UIW have played exceptional soccer at home this season, posting a 3-1-0 record. Incarnate Word has played two goalkeepers this season but receiving a majority of the minutes in goal has been Kieran O'Boyle allowing 1.14 goals per contest with two shutouts and a saving percentage of 80 percent. The Cardinals have done its scoring damage in the second half scoring 14 of their 20 goals in the final 45 minutes of play. Incarnate Word has not p0layed a match into overtime this season. Â
