Antelopes Stay at No. 20 in AVCA Poll

Grand Canyon remained at No. 20 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association poll, released Monday.

GCU finished the regular season Saturday with a 3-0 victory over Dixie State in St. George, Utah. The Antelopes are 23-5 overall and finished Pacific West Conference play 11-5.

The Antelopes are ranked No. 3 in the West Region. The top eight teams will be selected to the NCAA Division II West Region Tournament to be played Nov. 29-Dec. 2 at a yet to be determined site.

The NCAA Selection Show for Division II Women’s Volleyball is 8 p.m. Sunday and will be webcast on ncaa.com.

Grand Canyon received 12 more points in this week’s AVCA Poll, going from 181 to 193.
