The Grand Canyon University women’s golf team finished fourth at the Western Washington Invitational in Bellingham, Wash. The Antelopes shot a 33-over 617 on the Bellingham Golf and Country Club course. GCU completed today’s round with a combined score of 307, three shots better than their opening round total.
Hawai’i Hilo captured first in the tournament, firing a 299 today to finish with final total of 24-over 608. The University of British Columbia finished in second with a 614, while Tarleton State was third with a 616.

Kelcey Tate was the highest placed Antelope, finishing in fourth with a 5-over 151. She had a 79 today after shooting a 72 over the opening 18 holes yesterday. BC’s Casara Hong was the medalist, finishing her two rounds with a 1-over 147.

Charlotte Jaengkit finished in an eighth-place tie with a 7-over 153.
Tiffany Hewetson shot a 13-over 159 to finish in a tie for 21
st.
Cassidy Sanchez and
Eryn Olson both recorded nine-stroke improvements from the opening round (84) and finished in a tie with Hewetson.
The Antelopes will be in action next week at Cal State Monterey Bay Women’s Golf Invitational in Seaside, Calif. The tournament will be contested at the Blackhorse Golf Course.
