GCU Looks For Seventh Straight Win At ACU

Grand Canyon University’s women’s volleyball team looks for its seventh straight win Thursday at Arizona Christian University (formerly Southwestern College).
GCU (6-2) faces its fellow Phoenix-foe at 7 p.m. The ‘Lopes own a 6-0 all-time record against the Firestorm.
Since dropping a heart-breaking five-set match to Dallas Baptist in the Nanook Classic in Fairbanks, Alaska, GCU has won six straight, including the title at the 2011 Holiday Inn Grand Canyon University Invitational. GCU has started 1-0 in the Pacific West Conference with a win over Hawai’i Pacific.
GCU is ranked first in the PacWest in opponent’s hitting percentage (.112) and digs (18.03).
