Coach May Looking for Win No. 200
Grand Canyon University women’s basketball coach Trent May is looking for his 200th career win when the 10th-ranked Antelopes welcome Academy of Art tonight at 5 p.m.
May is 199-89 over his career and 72-32 at GCU. He is Grand Canyon’s all-time winningest coach.
GCU, ranked No. 6 in the West Region, is 18-2 overall and 6-1 in the Pacific West Conference. The ‘Lopes are one of three clubs with one conference loss. Hawai’i Pacific is in first place at 9-1. GCU and Dixie State are both 6-1 in league play.

Academy of Art is 7-12 overall and 5-5 in the conference. The Urban Knights have won three of four since losing to the Antelopes 66-49 in San Francisco on Jan. 20. Their only loss during that span was a 67-65 overtime loss to Hawai’i Pacific.
