The Grand Canyon University men's track & field team has moved up one spot to No. 23 in the nation in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NCAA Division II indoor rankings, released on Tuesday.
Despite having competed in just three meets, both of GCU's brand new track & field teams are nationally ranked. The women's team is No. 19 nationally and No. 3 in the West Region, while the men's team is No. 5 in the region.

The teams return to Flagstaff on Saturday for the Lumberjack Invitational. They competed in the NAU Team Challenge there last Saturday and will head back up the hill again next Saturday for the NAU Open.
No spectators are allowed at any of the events due to the construction at the Walkup Skydome.
