GCU Spreads Holiday "Cheer"

The GCU Cheer and Dance teams recently spent time celebrating the Christmas Season at the Kaiser Family Center by making arts and crafts with the children of participating homeless families. The Kaiser Family Center is a 120-day program that assists these families by promoting self-sufficiency and helping adults develop the skills necessary to maintain a secure lifestyle.
Both teams said they were fortunate to have a firsthand look at people in need and make a difference in those families who could use a little hope and happiness, especially around the holidays.
“These kids have a special place in my heart,” said freshman dance line member Ashley Mount. “I am so glad we had a chance to celebrate the season and spend time with them.”
