With straight set wins of 25-11, 25-16, 26-24, Grand Canyon defeated Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University 3-0 in Prescott, Ariz. Thursday.
"We did a great job meeting our goals," said GCU coach Kris Naber. "In the third game we came from a deficit. We played solid and we played with confidence."
GCU (10-12) trailed 24-23 before scoring the final three points of the set.

The win was GCU's second of the season over Embry-Riddle. The Antelopes are off until their four-match trip to Hawai'i. The 'Lopes take on Hawai'i at Hilo Oct. 22-23 and BYU-Hawai'i Oct. 25-26.
