Sophomore guard Rosalyn Nelson was named the PacWest Player of the Week for the third time this season. Nelson helped the Antelopes win all three games to even their overall record at 7-7 and begin league play with a 3-0 mark.

She averaged 21 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4 steals and 3.3 assists during the week.

Nelson is second in the league in scoring at 16.6, fifth in rebounds (5.6), third in assists (3.29) and first in steals (3.07).

Grand Canyon plays Friday and Saturday at Dixie St.
