Grand Canyon University's volleyball scrimmage against Pima Community College slated for Aug. 27 at Antelope Gym has been canceled.
The Antelopes will scrimmage 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 against an alumni team at Alumni Gym.
The regular season opens at the Cal State Los Angeles tournament Aug. 29-30. The Lopes will play four matches beginning on the 29th at noon versus Central Washington. They meet the host school later that evening at 7 p.m.
On the 30th, GCU will take on Academy of Art University, which will join the Pacific West Conference next season, at noon. They wrap up play later that evening at 7 p.m. against Cal State Dominguez Hills.
The following weekend the Lopes will play host to the Cactus Classic.
