Grand Canyon women's tennis team lost 7-0 to NCAA Division I Montana State University Friday at Paseo Racquet Center.
NCAA Division I scoring was used.
"All of the girls gave a strong effort and gained valuable experience that they can carry into their upcoming Division II matches," GCU coach Greg Prudhomme said.
Grand Canyon prepares for a three-match road trip in Silver City, N.M., next weekend, beginning with Western New Mexico on Friday.
