GCU goes 1-3 on lanes at FAMU's first day
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Grand Canyon University women's bowling team went 1-3 at the first day of the Florida A&M University-hosted NCAA Releaser's Invitational.
The Antelopes picked up a second win, but it did not count due to the opponent's NCAA status.
Grand Canyon beat Winston-Salem, 576-493. The Lopes lost to Bethune Cookman, 700-541. GCU fell to North Carolina A&T, 612-579. The Lopes also lost to Florida A&M, 656-627, in a competitive Baker match.
"We got off to a slow start," GCU coach Ron Reddic said.
