GCU won by set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-16.
In her first complete match since an injury prior to the Pacific West Conference season, senior Dana Edington (Peoria, Ariz./Centennial) had a team-high nine kills and two service aces.
Junior Tommyka Henry (Phoenix, Ariz./Alhambra/Mesa CC) had eight kills and three block assists. Senior Whitney Estes (Gardnerville, Nev./Douglas) had seven kills and just one attack error for a .375 hitting average.
Freshman setter Kristen Preach (pictured, Phoenix, Ariz./Xavier Prep) had 29 assists, 11 digs and four kills. Sophomore libero Laurann Durbin (Phoenix, Ariz./Sunnyslope) had 25 digs. Freshman Katie Peterson (Glendale, Ariz./Mountain Ridge) had six kills, one solo block and one block assist. Megan Toth (Phoenix, Ariz./Arcadia) added six kills and nine digs.
