READING, Penn. -- Ron Reddic was buzzing cell phone numbers and blowing up email addresses the way his team was buzzing on the lanes Friday.
Grand Canyon women's bowlers created history.
The Lady Lopes went 5-0 Friday in the first day of the three-day Kutztown Invitational at Bowl-A-Rama.
GCU crushed Long Island University, 776-473. The Antelopes beat Coppin State, 638-534. GCU cruised by Cheyney University, 692-417, before dusting off their last two opponents, St. Paul's College, 669-571, and Howard University, 643-579 in the final Baker match.
"We hope to keep the same intensity going in the team matches tomorrow," Reddic said.
