For many years, Grand Canyon University has been fortunate enough to have the Solheim family as a friend. The Solheims, through their foundation and the Karsten Manufacturing Corporation, have helped both student-athletes and the University as a whole. While monetary support is sometimes most visible, their steadfast support in all areas of University life is exemplary.
In recognizing thier commitment to the highest standards of quality Christian-based education and intercollegiate athletics competition, this award is presented to honor their significant contributions to sustaining and expanding the mission of Grand Canyon University.
