Devon Wharf enters her second season with the GCU women's soccer program. She played youth soccer for UBC Alumni premier women’s team and was a five year member of the BC provincial team. Wharf also attended National Camps at the U-16 and U-18 age groups, before earning a full athletic scholarship to NCAA Division I University of Arizona, where she was named PAC-10 Player of the Week and made a sweet sixteen appearance in the NCAA tournament.
After earning a B.A. in Psychology from Arizona in 2010, she moved back to Vancouver where she played for Surrey United Premier Women’s team, which won the 2011 National Club Championship in Montreal Quebec.
Wharf's coaching experience consists of being the assistant coach to the U15 Girls BC Provincial Soccer team for the past two years. She was also the goalkeeper coach at the University of the Fraser Valley for the women’s soccer program in 2010 when the squad made their first postseason appearance.
She currently holds all Community Coaching Certifications and is pursuing her Provincial B License this Spring.
