Carter earned her M.S. in Psychology at Grand Canyon in May 2014 along with the title of Associate Athletic Trainer. Prior to her current team assignment with women’s volleyball, she served as the athletic trainer for women’s basketball, track and field, and beach volleyball.
Carter received her B.S. in Athletic Training from Grand Canyon in 2008. During that time, she gained experience working at local high schools, Phoenix College, Fischer Sports Therapy, and serving as the designated senior student for the GCU softball team. She also played for the GCU women’s volleyball team from 2005 to 2008.
When not traveling the country with volleyball, she enjoys camping road trips, and being with her husband Lance, their daughter Eve and their boxer Sunny.
