Mitchell joins GCU after an impressive tenure in Arizona volleyball. A native of the state, he made his mark as a player at Sandra Day O'Connor High School and with AZ Fear.
Following his playing career, Mitchell stepped into coaching as an assistant at Sandra Day O'Connor. During his time there, he played a role in guiding the team to a state championship in 2022, as well as runner-up finishes in 2021 and 2024. His coaching acumen has also been on display at AZ Fear, where he has developed his expertise in player development for the past three years.
