Davis was named to the 2012-13 All-Central Texas Boys Basketball Team and was a Texas Basketball Magazine third-team selection after averaging 21.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game as a junior. He also garnered District 16-5A Most Valuable Player honors after leading the district in scoring with 25.3 points per game average and helping his squad reach the playoffs. A four-year varsity player, Davis earned third-team honors for his efforts during his sophomore campaign, and as a freshman at Cedar Ridge, Davis averaged 19.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game while also dishing out 4.7 assists.
