Dethie Fall is in his third year as a fulltime staffer with the men's basketball program in 2017-18 and his fifth season with the Lopes overall.
Previously, Fall was a graduate assistant for two seasons starting in 2013 before being elevated to assistant director of basketball operations/video coordinator in 2015. Currently, he oversees GCU’s video scouting efforts and is responsible for the organization, breakdown and presentation of game film, along with player edits and recruiting videos.
Following his collegiate playing career, Fall returned to his prep school alma mater, South Kent School, where he was a math teacher and assistant coach for the boy's basketball team.
Fall is a 2012 graduate of Roanoke College, where he majored in economics. He completed his MBA with an emphasis in leadership at Grand Canyon in 2015.
Fall was a featured subject of a documentary, ELEVATE, that highlighted the influence of basketball in the lives of teenage boys from West Africa in the hopes of obtaining higher education in the United States. ESPN Films acquired the documentary's rights in 2011, and Fall has traveled the United States to speak about the documentary.
