Cheerleading Experience: I started cheering when I was 13, on an all-star team called the Blue Angels. From there I cheered throughout high school and this is my second year on GCU Cheer.
High School Activities and Awards: Choir, cheer, show choir, drama, Youth Hero award.
College Activities and Awards: Cheer
Why did you choose to attend Grand Canyon University? The main reason that I was interested in GCU was because I had heard about the cheer team, then I tried out and made it! I know I made the right choice, and God led me to this school for a reason.
What do you like most about being a GCU Cheerleader? What I like most about being a cheerleader at GCU is leading our school and promoting school spirit, while also remaining good role models for those around us.
What is your most memorable moment being a GCU Cheerleader? My most memorable moment being a GCU cheerleader…I cannot pick just one. It’s all been amazing!
What are your hobbies and interest? I love to sing, dance around looking like a fool, hang out with friends and family and laugh.
What is your favorite movie? My Big Fat Greek Wedding!
Provide a final statement: This team, and coming to practice every day, is what gets me through really tough times. Knowing that I can go and be with my family at the end of every day, no matter what happened that day, is a blessing. I thank God for the wonderful people that he has brought into my life, I could not ask for a better team.
