Bio
Class: Sophomore
Hometown: Litchfield Park, AZ
High School: Joy Christian High School
Major: Exercise Science with an Emphasis in Health Education
Future Career Goals: My goal is to pursue a career that incorporates fitness and nutrition.
Cheerleading Experience: Junior and Senior year at Joy Christian High School, and one year cheering for GCU.
Why did you choose to attend GCU: After prayerful consideration, I chose to attend GCU because I felt as though this is where the Lord was directing my path. GCU is a very positive, exciting and faith-based community. The presence of Christian values is an aspect that sets GCU apart from other universities, and is one of the primary reasons I felt at home. The opportunity to become a GCU cheerleader was also another blessing that affirmed my decision to attend GCU.
What are your hobbies and interests: In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, working out and doing other exercise-related activities, baking, reading, writing, and spending time with the Lord. Other interests I have include outdoor activities such as backpacking, my pets, and nutrition.
What is your favorite food: I enjoy most kinds of food, but my favorite is probably Asian.
Who is your role model: My role model is Jesus Christ. I believe that every good quality in others and even myself is simply a reflection of His character and design within us. Jesus is the only person worth imitating in every aspect of life, and those who follow his direction will never be disappointed.
Favorite Bible Verse: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" Isaiah 41:10
