Was named Washington's 1A State Player of the Year as a senior in 2013-14. Also earned honorable mention all-state and Nisqually League Player of the Year.
Logged a triple-double of 24 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in Washington's All-State game.
Helped lead the Eagles to a fourth-place finish as a senior, earning first team all-tournament honors. Led team to a 45-44 comeback victory in which he made a 3-pointer with eight seconds remaining before stealing an inbounds pass and scoring the game-winning layup.
Earned first-team AP All-State honors and was the league's Player of the Year as a junior in 2012-13. Averaged 14.8 points and helped lead the team to a 22-3 mark.
Also played baseball for two seasons, earning Emerald City All-League honors as a freshman and sophomore.

Mother, Marni, played college volleyball at Pacific Lutheran from 1992 to 1994.
Younger sister, Samantha, plays college volleyball at Washington after transferring from Maryland.
Transferred to Grand Canyon for, in part, "a competitive coaching staff, great location, and the best fans in the country."
One of his closest friends, fellow Washingtonian Steve Hunsaker, was the 2016-17 Havocs president.
Favorite athletes to watch growing up included LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Brandon Roy.
