Grandy Glaze joined the Lopes for the 2015-16 season after graduating from Saint Louis. He sat out with an injury as a senior in 2014-15 while earning his degree in communications, and will have one season to play for GCU.
In the Classroom Glaze is a graduate student and is working toward a master's degree in leadership at Grand Canyon.
At Saint Louis Glaze started 26 of his 68 career games with the Billikens, including getting the nod in the starting lineup 20 times during his sophomore campaign. During his three season on the court with Saint Louis, Glaze averaged 3.3 points on 48.5 percent shooting and posted 11.3 minutes per game. He added 26 assists, 28 steals and 13 blocked shots.
To open the 2013-14 campaign, Glaze connected on all seven of his field-goal attempts while posting a career-high 16 points against Southeast Missouri in the season-opener on Nov. 8, 2013. It came as part of a double-double along with his 10 rebounds vs. the Redhawks. Less than a week later, Glaze nearly made it back-to-back double-doubles by earning a carer high with an impressive 14 rebounds to go with nine points against SIU-Edwardsville. He went on to record three more double-figure rebounding games and three more double-figure scoring contests as a junior.
High School Glaze spent a year at Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg, Mass., and also attended Proctor Academy in Andover, N.H. ... played AAU ball for CIA Bounce and Team Takeover Canada.
