Grant Maxwell is in his fourth year assisting with the GCU baseball program for the 2027 season, serving as a student manager.
Maxwell has worked with the Lopes since the fall of 2023, providing on-field, gameday and clubhouse support for the program. His responsibilities have included assisting with practices and games, supporting team operations, helping with day-to-day program logistics and contributing to the overall organization of the baseball program.
During the 2026 season, Maxwell oversaw the program's operations, coordinating logistics for the program including travel, scheduling and more, while continuing to assist with on-field elements at practices and games.
Maxwell also gained national baseball operations experience during the summer of 2026, working with USA Baseball as a member of the MLB Draft Combine Operations team.
A native of Lake Oswego, Oregon, Maxwell has returned to his high school program during the summer months as an assistant baseball coach for Lake Oswego High School’s varsity and junior varsity teams. In that role, he has worked with student-athletes in the same program he once played for.
Maxwell graduated from Lake Oswego High School in 2023 and is pursuing his degree at GCU.
