Named the Preseason WAC Player of the Year by the conference's coaches • went 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs on Feb. 26 vs. Tennessee • hit key grand slam to help the Lopes pull away from Omaha on March 5.

Posted a team-best .376 batting average, a mark that ranked 26th in Division I • named to the WAC First Team All-Conference • only GCU player to start each of the team's 54 games on the season • top 10 in the conference in average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, runs scored and hits • scored five runs off of two hits and three walks in a 30-7 defeat of Bradley on Feb. 15 • posted a 15-game hitting streak from April 2 - April 28, hitting .559 (33-for-59) over the stretch • had an eight-game streak of multi-hit games from April 2 - April 15 and led the team in total multi-hit games with 25 • logged a base hit in 47-of-54 games played • had two four-hit games on the season (April 24 at Utah Valley, May 3 vs. Seattle U).

Started 46 of his 48 games played • hit .256 (45-for-176) with 27 runs scored, 6 doubles, a triple, and 23 RBI • was 20-for-23 in stolen base attempts, the second-most steals on the team and third-most in the Western Athletic Conference • collected 12 multi-hit games • reached base safely in his final 10 games of the season and had 6 multi-hit affairs over his final 12 games.

Earned NCAA Division II West Region Championship All-Tournament Team honors • in the final three games of the West Regional, collected 8 RBI and plated the game-winner in each of those contests • started 55 of his 56 games played, with all of those starts coming at shortstop • had a season-best 4 hits on March 30 vs. Holy Names • tied for second on the team with 34 runs scored...had 12 multi-hit and seven multi-run games.

Garnered First Team All-Division II honors in 2012 • was also a First Team 4A Skyline Region selection as a junior and a member of the 2010 USSSA Winter Nationals 18U Championship team • was an accomplished football player in high school as well, being named to the Arizona All-State First Team.
