Braden Wells begins his first season as an assistant coach for Grand Canyon University.
Wells played at PacWest foe Dixie State, before transferring to Oregon State. Wells was a mainstay in the Oregon State lineup and helped lead the Beavers to a College World Series title. He played for Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix and was an All-State selection his senior season.
