- Selected as a 2020 All-MPSF honorable mention, his first postseason conference honor.
- Earned his first weekly honor on Feb. 10 when he was named the MPSF Offensive Player of the Week. The award came after a 3-0 sweep of USC where Fischer recorded 17 kills with no errors for a .680 hitting percentage, along with four digs and two blocks.
- Made a marked improvement from his freshman season with single-game career highs in kills, assists, aces, digs and blocks during the 2020 season.
- Finished second on the team with 42 blocks and third on the team in both aces (22) and kills (142).
- Recorded a career-high 19 kills against McKendree on Jan. 24, also recording eight digs and five blocks.
- Earned a extra year of eligibility due to the shortened season.
- Made his GCU debut at UCSB on Jan. 4, playing in two sets
