Austin Trujillo returned to his hometown of Greeley, Colo., and earned 7-3 win over Northern Colorado's Keith Johnson for his top win of 2014-15 as the Lopes continued their transition to a full Division I schedule. A year earlier, he went 10-6 with one win by fall and one by major decision in his first collegiate action after redshirting the 2012-13 season.

Trujillo is working toward a bachelor's degree in sports management at Grand Canyon.
Valley HS
Trujillo was a runner-up at the 2012 Colorado state championships for Valley High School. It came on the heels of four all-conference performances and two third-place finishes at the state high school championships. He finished his high school career as Valley's all-time leader in wins with a 151-23 all-time record.
