Looking to keep momentum after a 13-point victory over first-place San Diego State, Grand Canyon heads north to Colorado and takes on Air Force for the first time this season at 1 p.m. Saturday.

- GCU snapped first-place San Diego State's 13-game winning streak Wednesday, defeating the Aztecs 57-44. It was the second straight game holding a team under 50 points, doing so for the first time since Nov. 24-25, 2023.
- Coming off an 18-point performance vs. San Diego State, Lopes guard Chloe Mann extended her double-digit scoring streak to four games, moving her season total to 18 such contests. The sophomore is the team's leading scorer at 13.3 points per game and now has 305 points on the season, surpassing her 237 scored her freshman season at Cincinnati in 2024-25.
- The Lopes have tallied five or more blocks in six of its last seven games. GCU had four games with five or more blocks prior to Jan. 14 and are averaging 4.7 per game since that date.Â

- Lopes seniors Anisa Jeffries and junior Julianna LaMendola each grabbed eight rebounds Wednesday against the Aztecs. LaMendola leads the squad with 7.1 rebounds per game against MW schools, with Jeffries right behind her at 6.0. The duo has combined to pull down 34% of the team's conference rebounds.Â
- With the Mountain West Championship beginning March 7 in Las Vegas, GCU sits in good position to challenge for a top-four spot, which earns a first-round bye. The Lopes are a half-game back of Colorado State (two losses) and New Mexico (one win) for fourth and are three games ahead of Fresno State, which is in seventh.
