Grand Canyon head coach Winston Gandy added 5-foot-10 guard Ines Zounia to the 2025-26 Lopes squad.
A native of Lille, France, Zounia enters as a true freshman for the upcoming season, making her one of four incoming freshmen on the roster with Norah Moo of Phoenix, Sidney Anderson of Tucson, Arizona, and Diamond Wright of Springfield, Oregon.
Zounia is one of the top prospects in France and was selected into the prestigious INSEP, a grassroots national program comprised of the most talented French players of her age group.
She also played in exclusive invitation-only tournaments, putting Zounia against the best in the country since she was 15. Zounia joined USO Mondeville, a club in Mondeville, France, where she competed against professionals and top youth.Â
