Grand Canyon head coach Winston Gandy added a rising star in point guard Chloe Mann, who joins the Lopes as a sophomore for the 2025-26 season.Â
Mann played her freshman season at Big 12 member Cincinnati, where she finished fourth on the team in scoring (8.5 points per game). The 5-foot-8 native of Fort Worth, Texas, averaged 1.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 steals per game while drawing a lot of contact at the rim, shooting the third-most free throws on the Bearcats team with a 77-of-105 clip.
Mann had nine double-digit scoring games, including a season-high 26 points at Baylor on Feb. 2. She had a two-week, four-game stretch early in Big 12 play when she averaged 12.5 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest in Janurary games against UCF, Colorado, Arizona and Arizona State.
Mann attended Duncanville (Texas) High School, where she led the program to a state championship her senior season. During her final year, she averaged 13.2 points, 3.6 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game and was nominated for the McDonald's All-American Game.
Prior to Duncanville, she played two seasons at Boswell High School, where she earned all-district and all-region honors. She also competed for Sky Dig Elite and Playerfirst on the AAU circuit.
Mann is the second commit in the last week for Gandy and the Lopes, joining Indiana transfer guard Julianna LaMendola.
