Grand Canyon women's basketball head coach Winston Gandy signed 6-foot-4 forward Holly Griffiths to join the Lopes this year.
Griffiths, a native of Melbourne, Australia, enters as a junior with two years of eligibility remaining.
The post-play forward spent last season at Fresno State, averaging 2.4 points and 1.1 rebounds in 6.1 minutes per contest. She totaled 74 points and 35 rebounds for the season and had a career day against nationally ranked USC, scoring 11 points with three 3-pointers in a head-to-head battle against All-American JuJu Watkins.
Prior to last season, Griffiths spent her freshman season at Pepperdine, averaging 3.1 points and 1.7 rebounds per game in 20 appearances. She had seven games with at least three rebounds and tallied 14 points and five boards against eventual WCC champion Portland.
Griffiths joins guards Chloe Mann (Cincinnati) and Juilanna LaMendola (Indiana) as signees for the 2025 spring.Â
