Grand Canyon graduate forward
Laura Erikstrup, a two-time All-WAC honoree who ranked ninth nationally for field goal percentage this season, signed a semi-professional contract with the Woodville Warriors of the NBL1 Central League.

Erikstrup will join the team immediately and compete in this summer's season. Woodville's regular season began March 29 and runs to July 19, playing 18 games .
The NBL1 Central League, formerly known as the Premier League, features 10 teams across southern Australia. Woodville competes at the St. Clair Recreation Center in St. Clair, a suburb of Adelaide that is the capital of South Australia and the fifth-most populous city in the country.Â
Erikstrup had a career year in 2024-25 for the Lopes' first NCAA Division I Tournament team, averaging 14.3 points (fourth best in the WAC), 7.0 rebounds (fifth best in the WAC) and 1.3 steals per game while starting in every contest during a historic 32-3 season. Erikstrup shot 60.9% from the floor to be the WAC field goal percentage leader.
Erikstrup earned All-WAC second-team accolades a year after earning WAC Sixth Woman of the Year in 2023-24. She was also named to the All-WAC Tournament Team, totaling 37 points, 18 rebounds and five steals in three games en route to the WAC Tournament championship.
