Statement from GCU Vice President of Athletics Jamie Boggs:
We want to thank Coach Molly Miller for five seasons leading our program, culminating in the first conference title and NCAA tournament appearance for women's basketball. We wish her the best in her new opportunity.
We are one of the largest private Division I universities in the country and we are blessed to have the resources to attract and retain the most elite coaches. As we prepare to move into a very competitive basketball conference, we prioritized identifying someone who has recruited, coached and developed players at the highest level.
Our vision is to be a top 25 women's basketball program that consistently delivers championships and advances deep in the NCAA tournament. We are excited to enter a new era of establishing GCU as a perennial women's basketball power. It begins Monday with the announcement of our new head coach.
