Grand Canyon is back at home for Thursday's 6 p.m. match against Air Force (11-11, 3-7 Mountain West), marking the Lopes' first match with Air Force this season. GCU will return to Global Credit Union Arena on Saturday to host Nevada (7-13, 3-7 MW) for a 2 p.m. Saturday match.

- The Lopes are 4-3 against Air Force all-time dating back to a match in 1989. The Lopes have won the four most recent with a 3-2 victory at Air Force in 2016 being the only DI-era match.

- Air Force is led offensively by senior outside hitter Ashley Bible who is seventh in the conference in kills per set with 3.5 in conference play. Defensively, sophomore middle blocker Grace Fiaseu ranks fifth in the conference in blocks per set (1.4).
- Nevada's Haylee Brown sits at fifth in the conference in kills per set with 3.5. Audrey Jensen is fourth in assists at 8.2 per set.

- The Lopes will stay at home for their final two home matches of the season against San Diego State on Nov. 6 and UNLV on Nov. 8, which will be pivotal matches in the hunt for a Mountain West Championships spot.
