With the new season on the horizon, Grand Canyon women's basketball is represented among the preseason award winners.
Sophomore guard
Chloe Mann, who joined GCU this summer after spending her freshman campaign at Cincinnati, was named Mountain West Preseason Newcomer of the Year, joining Boise State's Tatum Thompson (Preseason Player of the Year) and San Diego State's Kendall Mosley (Preseason Freshman of the Year) for conference recognition.
Mann also was named to the 10-player Preseason All-Mountain West Team, making her one of three underclassmen on the list.
The Fort Worth, Texas, native averaged 8.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 steals for Cincinnati in 2024-25, when she scored a season-best 26 points at Baylor.
