Grand Canyon is back on the road for Thursday's match at San Diego State (11-6), marking the Lopes' first away match at SDSU. GCU will then head to New Mexico for the second match in the last week against New Mexico (8-9) on Saturday.
Thursday's 6:00 p.m. match will be available on Mountain West Network while Saturday's 11 a.m. match will be shown on Mountain West Network.

- GCU went 2-0 last weekend after two decisive wins against UNLV and New Mexico. In the high-level competition, Nunez continued her early-season surge, she tallied 22 kills, 35 assists, 23 digs, five blocks, averaging 3.1 kills, 5.0 assists, and 3.9 points per set.
- The Lopes are 1-0 against SDSU after a 2019 sweep in Phoenix. GCU is now 3-1 against New Mexico after its 3-0 win at home last Saturday.
SCOUTING
- SDSU is 6-0 in MW play with most recent wins against New Mexico and UNLV. Senior opposite hitter Taylor Underwood led the Aztecs with 26 kills (3.71/set) for the week. She currently has 13 straight matches with 10 or more kills.
- New Mexico is 0-6 in conference play. In the first matchup with the Lopes, the Lobos hit .066 as a team with Gioia Riccato and Lauryn Payne each had six kills.
