Grand Canyon cross country is in action for the second consecutive weekend when the Lopes head to the Dave Murray Invitational hosted in Tucson, Arizona, by the University of Arizona on Saturday morning.
The women will lead the day off with the 6,000-meter race, beginning at 7:15 a.m. and followed by the men's 8,000-meter run at 7:50 a.m.
Competing at the Tucson Country Club, the Lopes will face off against runners from Arizona, Arizona State, USC, UTEP and New Mexico State as well as other non-Division I programs.

The Lopes are competing at the Dave Murray Invitational for the eighth consecutive season.
GCU is back in action just one week after competing at the UC Riverside Invitational.
The Lopes are already into the second half of their regular-season schedule with only one meet remaining before the WAC Championships on Nov. 1 in Orem, Utah.
