Anci Dy shot her best rounds as a Lope and Grand Canyon teammate
Calynne Rosholt is on pace for her third consecutive top-10 finish as GCU heads to the final round of the Ptarmigan Ram Classic on Monday.
Dy carried over the momentum of finishing last week's Leadership and Golf Invitational with a 2-under round by shooting 3-under and 4-under rounds Monday at Ptarmigan Golf and Country Club Dy will enter Tuesday's final round tied for fourth place, where a group of four players is three strokes behind tournament leader Alice Johansson of Washington State.
Rosholt, a graduate transfer, is following up top-10 placements in her first two GCU tournaments by tying for 10th after the first two rounds of Colorado State's tournament. Rosholt matched Dy's 3-under first round, when the pair was tied for seventh, and followed it with a 1-under second round in the afternoon.
The Lopes are at 4 over as a team with sophomore
Brenna Preap tied for 38th after rounds of 76 and 75 on the par-72 course. Senior teammate
Alyzzah Vakasiuola is tied for 42nd following rounds of 75 and 77 to be 8 over. Sophomore
Jess Haines rounds out the GCU lineup in a tie for 56th at 13 over.
GCU enters Tuesday's 8 a.m. final round one stroke behind Long Beach State (3 over) and two strokes behind Colorado (2 over). UC Davis leads the tournament at 13 under par.
