The Grand Canyon basketball teams' opportunities to go down in history at the WAC Tournament will come in Las Vegas, where championship day will be March 15.

The WAC announced that the postseason tournament will remain in Las Vegas at Orleans Arena, its home since 2011, and will include every member in the brackets for the first time since 2018.
The GCU men will pursue a WAC Tournament championship three-peat, which only has been achieved by New Mexico State in the conference's 40-year history. The Lopes women seek the program's first WAC championship in GCU's final WAC year before heading to the West Coast Conference for 2025-26.
With nine WAC members for 2024-25, the conference tournament bracket will add an opening-round game between the No. 8 and No. 9 seeds and then move to Las Vegas for a traditional eight-team bracket without byes. Orleans Arena will host three consecutive four-game days (March 12-14) before the championships decide the WAC's NCAA tournament automatic berths on March 15.
The men's and women's opening-round games will take place March 11 at Burns Arena in St. George, Utah, making Utah Tech the first member to host a WAC Tournament game since 2010. Those winners will advance to face the men's and women's No. 1 seeds on March 12 at Orleans Arena, where the No. 2 vs. No. 7 quarterfinals also will be played that day.
On March 13, the other WAC Tournament quarterfinals (No. 4 vs. No. 5 and No. 3 vs. No. 6) will fill in the remaining slots for the men's and women's semifinals, which will take place March 14. The time and broadcast details for the March 15 men's and women's championship games will be announced later.
"Our basketball tournament is our signature championship event," WAC Commissioner Brian Thornton said. "In recent years, we have tweaked the format to create the best experience for our student-athletes and institutions while seeking opportunities to add value for our fans. We are excited for another electrifying #wacvegas."
