3 THINGS TO KNOW
- The Lopes showed out last week with a 45-9 scoring margin against California Baptist and Utah Tech to improve to 30-8 on the season with a WAC-leading conference record of 9-2.
- Senior shortstop Katelyn Dunckel earned WAC Player of the Week with seven RBIs on nine hits, including two home runs against CBU. She posted a .529 batting average, .941 slugging percentage and .579 on-base percentage, 1.000 fielding percentage and six assists.
- The Lopes are batting .333Â with a 2.53Â ERA in the circle this season.Â
SCOUTING UT ARLINGTON
- The Mavericks are fourth in the WAC at 5-3 with a series sweep of Southern Utah, a series loss to Tarleton and a split series with California Baptist.
- UT Arlington is hitting .285Â with a team ERA of 5.00.
- Jessica Adams (2.52 ERA) earned WAC Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season on April 1.Â

GCU vs CBU, at Utah Tech
- The Lopes swept their second consecutive WAC series, downing California Baptist in a Tuesday doubleheader and sweeping three games at Utah Tech.Â
- GCU tallied 50 hits, 45 runs, 10 doubles and 10 home runs. In 33 innings pitched, the Lopes combined for 28 strikeouts, 28 hits, five walks, a 1.91 ERA and a .224 opposing batting average. GCU also maintained a 1.000 fielding percentage through last week's five games.
