THREE THINGS TO KNOW
- The Lopes opened the season 4-1, with a 34-14 scoring margin last weekend against Wisconsin, Maine, Weber State, St. Thomas and Boise State.
- Graduate first baseman Kristin Fifield earned WAC Player of the Week with eight RBIs on six hits, including a three-run home run, a .429 batting average, .643 slugging percentage and .500 on-base percentage, and a .969 fielding percentage with three double plays.
- As a team, the Lopes are batting .348 with a 1.35 ERA in the circle.
SCOUTING MEMPHIS
- The Tigers come to GCU Softball Stadium 0-4 after competing at the LSU Tournament against LSU (L 0-19 (5 inns.), L 0-8 (5 inns.)) and Pittsburgh (L 0-5, L 4-6).
- Memphis is currently hitting .161 with 4 runs on 14 total hits as team.
- In the field, the Tigers have produced five errors and are led in the circle by Rylee Dugar (5.65 ERA) with a team ERA of 8.67.
SCOUTING CALIFORNIA
- The Golden Bears enter the Littlewood Classic 5-1 after facing McNeese State (W, 5-2), Chattanooga (W 13-6, W 1-0), New Mexico (W, 16-3, 5 inns.) and Louisiana (L 0-8 6 inns., W 3-1 8 inns.).
- Win over No. 21 Louisiana: Randi Roelling went 5.1 innings in the circle and allowed just one run with four strikeouts to lead the California softball team to a 3-1 eight-inning victory over No. 21 Louisiana on Sunday at Lamson Park. Acacia Anders went 2-for-3 and was responsible for the game-winning RBI, while Kaylee Pond and Hope Alley recorded two hits apiece for the Bears.
- Cal is hitting .327 on the season and pitching 2.87 from the circle.
SCOUTING VIRGINIA TECH
- The Hokies enter the Littlewood Classic 4-0-1 after wins over Illinois (W, 18-1, 6-5), Belmont (W, 13-1, 5 inns.), and a split with No. 19/20 Auburn (W, 8-1 8 inns., T, 5-5 6 inns.)
- Rachel Castine earns ACC Player of the Week after hitting a .583 batting average with 13 RBIs and four home runs, two of those being grand slams. The junior individually recorded more RBIs than any other team in the tournament.
- As a team, the Hokies bat .423 and have a team ERA of 2.48; Virginia Tech is led by Castine (.593 avg) and Lyndsey Grein (0.75 ERA).
SCOUTING ILLINOIS STATE
- The Redbirds come to Phoenix 0-5, after falling to Bethune-Cookman (L, 2-3, 9 inns.), South Florida (L, 0-1, 9 inns.), Michigan (L, 3-5), Oregon State (L, 0-1), and No. 18 Florida (L, 1-12, 5 inns.).
- GCU is 1-0 against Illinois State after defeating the Redbirds 6-4 at home last February.
- Illinois State has only notched one inning with more than one run, scoring only two runs in the sixth inning versus Michigan.
SCOUTING CAL STATE FULLERTON
- The Titans opened their season 4-0 after defeating Colorado State (5-0, 1-0), UIC (W, 8-2) and Pacific (W, 8-0, 6 inns.).
- As a team, Fullerton is hitting .354 with a team ERA of 0.52.
- Staci Chambers (1.27 ERA) pitched a no-hitter against Colorado State on Sunday.

- The Lopes opened the season 4-1, with a 34-14 scoring margin last weekend against Wisconsin, Maine, Weber State, St. Thomas and Boise State.
- GCU tallied 40 hits, 34 runs, eight doubles three home runs, and one triple offensively; in 31 innings pitched, the Lopes combined for 29 strikeouts, 19 hits, 12 walks, a 1.35 ERA and a .168 opposing batting average.
