For the second time this season, Grand Canyon forward 
Laura Erikstrup was named WAC Player of the Week for the second time this season.
 

Erikstrup, a graduate, is having a career season, posting averages of 15.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game while ranking 17th nationally with 60% shooting 60%.
The 6-2 post player from Portland, Oregon, averaged 20.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in GCU's two victories over Park Gilbert and Northern Arizona last week, going a combined 18 of 26 (69%) from the field.
Against Park Gilbert, she notched her third double-double of the season with 24 points and 12 rebounds with a season-high 10 made field goals. She coupled that with 17 points and seven boards against the Lumberjacks to extend the Lopes' winning streak to 11 games.
 
Erisktrup has scored in double figures in each game of the 11-win streak, including three games of 20 points or more and  nine performances of 15 points or more. She also has grabbed seven or more rebounds in seven of the 11 games, moving her to third in the conference with 102 rebounds on the season.
 
GCU (13-2) begins WAC play Saturday in Cedar City, Utah, against Southern Utah (2-11).
